Electric Zoo, Festival stage
Stage content that makes the main stage visually larger, readable to the back of the festival grounds.

Festival visuals are a discipline of their own: the audience stands far away, the screens are large and the rhythm of the music governs everything. A beautiful image that does not move with it disappears within seconds. For Electric Zoo we thought in show moments rather than separate images, with a level of detail that is rich up close and still works from a distance.
The challenge
Visual content that works at festival scale, visible from a distance, readable on LED, scaling with light and sound.
Visual strategy
Images built around movement, rhythm and repetition. No detail that gets lost from afar; instead, impact that stays readable even at great distance.
Impact
Stage visuals that supported the show moments and made the stage visually larger.

— notes
Festival visuals are a different discipline from stills or cinematics. The audience stands far away, the screens are large, the rhythm of the music governs everything. A beautiful image that does not move with it disappears within seconds.
For Electric Zoo we developed content focused on movement and repetition, with a measured level of detail, rich enough up close, clean enough to work from a distance. We thought in show moments rather than separate images.
The resulting visuals contributed to the scale and atmosphere of the main stage and served as a visual base on which live lighting and guest performances could build further.
