Marriott Hotel Antwerp
The interior of a Marriott hotel as a promise, from reception to cocktail bar.

For a hotel, the interior is the promise: the guest chooses on feeling, long before the doors open. For Studio Hugo we brought the design of the Marriott hotel in Antwerp into view, each space with its own tone, and yet one recognisable hand across the whole series.
The challenge
Presenting the interior design for a Marriott hotel in Antwerp convincingly, from reception to hotel room and cocktail bar.
Visual strategy
Finding the right atmosphere per space: light, material and composition tuned to the hospitality experience each room should radiate.
Impact
A consistent visual series that let Studio Hugo present and align the design, across every space.

— notes
For a hotel, the interior is the promise. A guest chooses on feeling, and that feeling arises long before the doors open, in the presentation of the design. For the Marriott hotel in Antwerp we brought Studio Hugo's interior design into view: from the arrival at reception to the calm of a hotel room and the evening atmosphere of the cocktail bar.
Every space calls for its own tone. We tuned light, material and composition per room to the experience it should evoke, restrained where it can be, generous where it may be, while keeping one recognisable hand across the whole series.
That allowed Studio Hugo to present and align the design with a consistent, credible picture of the hotel as it would become.
