In a tender, the decision falls on paper and on imagery, long before anything is built. The design not only has to be sound, it has to let the jury feel how it will stand. For Studio S3 we brought Westpoort into view in its full context, with daylight and atmosphere that are credible and inviting.

Westpoort is a new-build development for which Studio S3 submitted a tender. In a process like that, the decision falls on paper and on imagery, long before anything is built. The design not only has to be sound, it has to let the jury feel how it will stand.
Commissioned by Studio S3, we brought the apartment complex into view in its full context: the greenery and water around it, the route at street level, people using the place. Composition, daylight and atmosphere are tuned to an image that is credible and inviting, not a sterile architectural render, but a place you can picture yourself in.
The visualisations weighed in on the tender Studio S3 went on to win. The design gained a tangible, convincing face at the moment it mattered.
