Immersive 3D experiences that truly take people somewhere.
Interactive installations, virtual production and real-time content for brands, museums, retail experiences and live entertainment, visual work that responds to the visitor.

What are immersive 3D experiences?
Immersive 3D experiences are environments or installations where visitors step into a visual world that responds to their presence or actions. This can be an interactive museum installation, a brand activation in a shopping centre, a virtual production stage where actors perform in front of LED walls, or a real-time visual layer over a physical space. The difference with video: the image is not edited in advance, it is built up live.

— for whom
02 / 06
Three types of client this works for.
01
Brands & retail
Pop-up experiences, in-store activations, launch events, content that delivers surprise and shareability in a physical space.
02
Museums & exhibitions
Interactive installations that make a collection or story more accessible, projection, sensor-driven or mixed reality.
03
Production houses (virtual production)
LED volume content for virtual production shoots, real-time backdrops synchronised with the camera.
— approach
03 / 06
How we work, briefly, in four steps.
Concept & interaction model
What does the visitor do, and what does the image do? First the interaction model, only then 3D production.
Tech stack choices
For each project we determine the right pipeline: Unreal Engine, Notch, TouchDesigner or a game engine render workflow.
Visual production
Real-time content calls for different asset choices than offline render, more optimisation, different texturing disciplines.
Integration & on-site
Setup, calibration and run support on location. For longer installations: monitoring and periodic content updates.

Answers to what clients usually ask first.
- What are typical project sizes for immersive 3D experiences?
- A brand experience installation is typically between €25,000 and €120,000, depending on interactivity, scale and hardware integration. A shorter virtual production project (LED volume content) can start from €8,000.
- What is virtual production and do you do it?
- Virtual production is filming in front of LED walls that show real-time 3D environments, synchronised with the camera movement. Beyond3D delivers the 3D backdrop content suited to an LED volume, concept, build and delivery in the production pipeline.
- Which software do you use?
- Depending on the project: Unreal Engine for real-time/virtual production, Notch for live LED content with interaction, TouchDesigner for sensor-driven installations, and the common offline render pipelines for pre-viz.
- How long does an immersive project take?
- Allow at least 8 weeks for a smaller installation, 16 to 24 weeks for a larger brand or museum project with custom interaction and hardware integration. We like to work iteratively with scope locks per phase.
- Do you work together with hardware/AV partners?
- Yes, we have regular partners for LED, projection, sensors, tracking and server hardware. For a complete installation we arrange that as one deliverable whole or work alongside your own AV party.
- What level of interaction is achievable?
- From simple proximity-based responses to multi-user touch, body tracking or camera-feed-driven content. The decision is steered by goal and budget, more interaction means more production time, not always more impact.
