What is hospitality visualisation?

Hospitality visualisation is the making of photorealistic 3D images of hospitality and hotel concepts, a restaurant, hotel lobby, bar or complete guest experience, based on a design, floor plan or moodboard. The space still only exists digitally, but the image reads like an interior photograph: light, material, scale and atmosphere are right. For hoteliers, restaurateurs and concept developers this is the difference between explaining a plan and selling a guest experience to operators, investors or franchise partners.

— for whom

02 / 06

Three types of client this works for.

01

Hotels & hospitality groups

Present new lobbies, rooms, restaurants and spa areas convincingly to owners, operators and investors, before construction starts.

02

Restaurants & hospitality concepts

Validate a new restaurant, bar or hospitality format: make atmosphere, light and guest experience visible before construction, including the restyling of an existing venue.

03

Concept developers & franchise

Pitch material for investors, franchisees and location decisions, visually competitive with photography of existing venues.

— approach

03 / 06

How we work, briefly, in four steps.

01

Concept & guest experience

Floor plan, material selection, references and the desired atmosphere per space. A lobby asks for a different tone than a fine-dining room.

02

Camera at guest level

Camera positions at eye level, chosen the way a guest enters the space, not as a technical architectural perspective.

03

Material, light & styling

Materials, lighting and styling are worked out separately. That is where the hospitality atmosphere that sells a concept is created.

04

Review & delivery

One or two feedback rounds, delivery in all formats for pitch, brochure, website and social.

— what you get

04 / 06

Concrete delivery, no vague promises.

  • 01Hero stills of lobby, restaurant or bar (print and web)
  • 02Atmosphere images at eye level, on guest height
  • 03Day and evening variants for the right hospitality mood
  • 04Detail images of material, lighting and styling
  • 05Floor plan or overview images of the layout
  • 06Optional: camera move or short animation

— frequently asked questions

06 / 06

Answers to what clients usually ask first.

How much does hospitality visualisation cost?
The price depends on the number of images, the complexity of the space and the desired level of detail. A set of 3 to 5 stills for a restaurant or hotel concept usually ranges between €1,500 and €6,000. Send your briefing for a concrete project estimate.
What is the difference between hospitality visualisation and regular interior visualisation?
The technique is the same, the focus is not. Hospitality is all about guest experience: the atmosphere in which a guest wants to sit, eat or stay. Camera, light and styling are chosen from that experience, not from a neutral interior rendering.
How long does a hotel or restaurant visualisation take?
An individual still takes 5 to 10 working days. A set of 3 to 5 images takes 2 to 4 weeks on average from an approved concept. Rush work is possible on request.
Do you also work from a moodboard without a final design?
Yes. With hospitality and hotel concepts the visual work starts early. We advise on camera, atmosphere and styling in parallel with the design process, so the image helps shape the concept.
Can you visualise an existing hospitality venue after a restyling?
Yes. For a restyling we show the redesign coherently, so the difference with the existing situation is immediately visible. This turns a renovation plan into a concrete proposal instead of an idea.
Can we use the images for press, social media and investor pitches?
Yes, usage rights for all marketing, sales and press communication are included in the project by default, in all required resolutions.
Do you work for hotels and restaurants throughout the Netherlands?
Yes, and in Belgium. We work entirely from our own studio: briefing and coordination happen remotely, via call, shared references and clear interim rounds. Location makes no difference to the result.
